Only Democrats would object to associating freedom of religion and freedom of expression with Old Glory. Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi defended the decision of the Capitol Architect to ban the word “God” from U.S. Flag Certificates saying "It's not about being anti-religion,… It is just about what the architect thought was appropriate for him to proclaim in a certificate." So now, in the country that has been, since its founding, a beacon of religious freedom for the world, it is considered inappropriate to have “God” printed on a document meant to honor one’s grandfather.
The thing that needs to be removed from the Capitol is Speaker Pelosi.
Finally, sensibility returns and the Capitol Architect overturned his decision, with no help from the Hill Harlot.
A time will come when average citizens will no longer be fooled by the double speak and media driven propaganda of the left. I salute you, Andrew Larochelle! How proud you grandfather must be!
I applaud the efforts of Senator Jim DeMint and Rep. Michael Turner for proposing "Andrew Larochelle God, Family, and Country Act of 2007" bill in the Senate and House (H.R. 3779).
